Since last week's Whiteboard Wednesday session on the math behind reducing blood testing was so popular, this week’s session also provides a little fun with math!  Specifically, the session discusses how employers may underestimate the total cost of self-service wellness challenges by not fully considering the cost of administration and employee participation time.  When the total costs of self-service programs are included in the decision-making process, employers may reconsider running wellness challenges internally and think about reallocating the freed capacity to higher value areas.
